The buckle used is slightly larger than the historic original at 4. 8 x 4. 5 cm. The belt in black leather, with an open, unfinished edge, is made of sturdy cowhide leather of 2. 8 to 3. 2 mm thick, waxed matt finished so that it develops a natural patina over time. Two pressed lines along the sides indicate the belt
