slower ripening period allowed flavour to build more gently over a longer period resulting in very good depth of flavour at modest sugar levels with good retained acidity

Fowles Stone Dwellers Arneis 2024 sicily Our Pinot Gris is aWinemaking The Arneis fruit was picked from Block 10 of our Upton Run Vineyard with a selective harvester on the 15th of March. The fruit was then gently crushed and fermented in stainless steel to promote fruit flavours and aromas. Yeast was added to enhance aromatics, fruit characters and an elegant palate structure. The wine then spent 7 month on lees before being bottled.
