Well known as a culinary herb, and especially for flavouring lamb and mediterranean dishes, this is a beautiful white form so does double duty in the garden whilst looking great as well as being a useful herb. This particular variety is an erect bushy shrub, with aromatic narrow leaves, dark green above, and white below. In late winter and spring the shrub is covered with white flowers, which bees love.
